Lobby definition and meaning

The term lobby is one that virtually everyone is familiar with, whether they’ve played games in a casino or not.

When it comes to online casinos, lobby refers to the area where you can see all the games available. The games are often classified into categories, such as table games, live dealer games, and video slots, for example. Furthermore, they can be split into progressive jackpots games, latest games, as well as the hottest and trending games. In other words, it is the area where the players have an opportunity to choose the games they want to play.

In brick-and-mortar casinos, the lobby is exactly what any other lobby is. It is usually the area where players can wait before entering the place where casino games are or an area where the players spend their time before entering a VIP poker room, for example.
