Irregular Playing Patterns definition and meaning

Irregular playing patterns is a term used in online casinos that’s closely related to online casino bonuses.

As you may know, virtually every online casino offers various bonuses to new players. However, if you are using a bonus, you have to meet the playthrough requirements set by the online casino issuing it before you can start withdrawing money from your account.

To meet the requirements of these bonuses, players have to play specific games and bet the usual amounts — as they would under any other circumstances. However, some players exhibit what we call irregular playing patterns. They are neither playing the game nor trying to win but trying to meet the bonus’ requirements by making minimum risk bets.

Such behaviour is often referred to as the bonus abuse, and casinos can often close your account or withhold winnings from anyone who uses irregular playing patterns.
