Play’n GO continues its Norse mythology game selection with Odin: Protector of the Realms. The provider has released another Nordic-inspired slot game focusing on Odin, the Nordic god of wisdom.
Odin remains to protect Asgard from future attacks, while Thor and other gods stand in defence of the Realm. The player’s task is to defeat Asgard’s enemies by harnessing Odin’s magical powers. The game comes with a cascading hexagonal grid, while the sizes of players’ wins get increased by harnessing Odin’s powers. Odin: Protector of the Realms is all about the long game with 37 symbols to match, leaving players satisfied right from the start. Furthermore, players get to summon one of three of Odin’s forces — wisdom, glory, and power. The wisdom feature will randomly upgrade the central and matching symbols within the grid, while the glory symbol triggers several wilds. Lastly, the power symbol triggers the charge feature that will select two symbols randomly and destroy them.

Charlotte Miliziano, who acts as the head of games at Play’n GO, commented on the growing popularity of Nordic mythology-inspired slots. She said that mythology is one of the most popular themes for online slots as it provides players with fun but informative history lessons. Miliziano added that the players couldn’t seem to get enough of the inspiring artwork and graphics in such games. Play’n GO has previously released a few Nordic-inspired games like Faces of Freya, Viking Runecraft, and Ring of Odin.
