Play’n GO Confirms Content Is Its Main Weapon in the Battle for Customer Retention

One of the iGaming industry-leading developers, Play’n GO, hosted its second Play’n GO SHOW this year on July 5 in La Reserva club in Sotogrande, Spain. Play’n GO’s Head of Sales in Western Europe, Stuart Trigwell, took the role of the host. He was joined by two other well-known names in the industry — chief commercial officer Magnus Olsson and games ambassador George Olekszy.

The event drew quite a crowd from not only Spain and Gibraltar but also other parts of Europe. It featured dancing and drinks, but its primary purpose was to strengthen relationships with attendees and discuss future business objectives.

The speakers and the guests engaged in a conversation about the importance of using content as a retention tool in today’s climate. The hosts also spoke about Play’n GO’s rich game portfolio and the criteria for measuring new releases’ success.

The highlight of the discussion was Olsson’s answer to Tirgwell’s question about the industry’s future. Olsson explained the current state of the market implies two schools of thought have developed on the iGaming scene. One is interested in the expansion of regulated markets and creating products whose primary value lies in entertainment. The other, however, has different viewpoints and aims.

Olsson also pointed out that Play’n GO chooses to side with the former and expressed that pursuing regulated markets and releasing products created for fun is the right path.

Olekszy and Trigwell closed the evening’s discussion. Olekszy spoke about the reasons behind the popularity of Play’n GO’s recent releases and revealed his favourites among the upcoming titles. He mentioned several games but singled out Gates of Troy — a slot scheduled to launch in September — as the one we should look out for the most.

Trigwell reassured the guests that Play’n GO is the right choice of partner in this industry and reminded them about the company’s long-standing experience and extensive expertise.
