To intrigue its audience even more, the developer included a bonus intro where the mighty Zeus would appear to tell us the story about Pandora and her box. It is evident right off the bat that the game revolves around Pandora’s mystery box and the perks it brings to players.
At first glance, this release’s set up is no different than any other standard slot game. It is played across a 5x4 grid with 20 paylines and has an RTP of 96.2%. The game takes place on an ancient hilltop surrounded by firepits and the sea in the background. Pandora’s Box of Evil contains 14 symbols — five of them are low-paying, while Pandora and the four creepy creatures are high-paying ones. Landing three to five of any high-paying symbol can bring you a win that is 5x – 8x your stake.

The other, more distinctive symbols include the mystery symbol, scatter, mystery wild, and spirit of hope. Interestingly, they don’t provide instant wins like those we mentioned above, but if you hit the right combinations, they can award you a prize of 6,000x your stake. When a mystery symbol (a bronze god-like figure) hits the reels, it can uncover a scatter, spirit of hope, a pay symbol, or turn into a mystery wild (a gold god-like figure). If it reveals the pay symbol, they will always be of the same type. Mystery symbols can transform into mystery wilds before they open, containing 2x, 3x, 4x, and 5x multipliers. Whenever more than one mystery wild appears in a win, all multiplier values are added together. If you are lucky, the mystery symbol may reveal the spirit of hope icon, triggering a respin that plays out once the current spin is over. When a respin starts, all present mystery wilds, scatters, and mystery symbols become sticky, meaning they are locked in their places. Once the respin is over, the mystery symbol will reveal new icons. Hitting three scatters (golden discs) activates the bonus round and awards 8 free spins. During this round, all mystery symbols turn sticky until the feature ends. If you land 1, 2, or 3 scatters during this mode, you can win additional 2, 5, or 8 free spins, which will be added to the remaining spin count.
