iSoftBet Gets A2 Greek License for Further Market Expansion

One of the biggest game suppliers and content aggregators, iSoftBet received a license to supply its high-quality, award-winning content, including the GAP aggregation platform, to regulated operators in Greece. This move is possible thanks to the Hellenic Gaming Commission (HGC) and its newly regulated Greek market.
iSoftBet has received an A2 license, which will enable the supplier to offer its proprietary and third-party content to all Greek operators that have been previously licensed. Some of them include Betsson, Interwetten, GVC, and Stoiximan. The Greek expansion will start this summer through the provider’s GAP platform.

Thanks to this latest deal, iSoftBet will be available in 20 regulated markets with access to top casino games and a quick market route, thanks to GAP. Not to worry, iSoftBet has an excellent track record of compliance, previously winning the Compliance Outstanding Achievement Award at the 2020 VIXIO Global Regulatory Awards — the most prestigious compliance-related award in the industry. The award came 12 months after focusing on becoming one of the most compliant suppliers across the new and regulated markets.

iSoftBet’s compliance team has been at the front of managing necessary changes to existing legislation, finalising certifications in Malta, Switzerland, Colombia, and Sweden. This is a massive success for iSoftBet in this highly competitive industry.

Mark Halstead, who acts as a compliance manager at iSoftBet, said that the company is exceptionally proud of its Greek license, which will only push the supplier further to improve its compliance programme with new market requirements. He added that this is another highly significant moment for the company. Halstead finished by saying that entering new regulated markets will enable iSoftBet to showcase its content and platform to new users.

Chief commercial officer at iSoftBet, Federica Faggiano, also expressed her satisfaction with the company’s leadership on the compliance-related market, noting the potential the Greek market has for players. She added that securing such licenses in innovative markets will further establish iSoftBet’s role, emphasising local brand presence through speed, efficiency, and innovative player engagement tools.
