Evolution on a Mission to Bolster Its BCLC Collaboration

Following its announcement concerning the addition of Lighting Dice to its New Jersey live portfolio, Evolution has revealed it is bolstering the partnership with the British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC). The Swedish giant has confirmed it will launch two high-roller live tables for online players from Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and British Columbia.
These VIP games, VIP Blackjack and VIP Baccarat, will be streamed live from Evolution's Vancouver studio, so players can expect nothing less than an immersive and opulent gaming atmosphere. Offering high minimum stakes, they will primarily cater to high rollers and VIP players seeking an exclusive online gambling experience. The new tables will be added to BCLC's PlayNow.com site, which also offers other Evolution-powered titles, such as sports betting, poker, bingo, lottery, other casino options, and a platform for instant games.

Spanning over 16,000 square feet, Evolution Vancouver's studio is the company’s eighth live facility (the first outside of Europe), built specifically for BCLC's live casino services. It was initially launched with live roulette, baccarat, and blackjack games in 2021, but it has grown over the years, expanding its offer and employing new staff members. Therefore, this new addition will undoubtedly enrich the user experience and help expand the player base. According to Evolution’s chief commercial officer for North America, Jeff Millar, the company’s initial agreement with the BCLC created over five years ago paved the way for the developer to open its Canadian studio in 2018, marking the company’s first major international expansion. As a result, the relationship between the two companies has grown steadily since then. Therefore, Millar states the company is proud to introduce these new VIP tables and hopes they will attract players who will appreciate this high-end online gaming ambience. Aside from VIP Baccarat and VIP Blackjack, Evolution also offers other high-stakes games via the BCLC PlayNow.com website, such as VIP European and French roulette variations. They feature even higher betting limits to meet the needs of VIP players. On top of that, Evolution strives to constantly replenish its offer, so one of the recently added titles to the BCLC portfolio includes Ticket to Ride — an instant ticket game inspired by Days of Wonder’s award-winning board game. Like last year, Evolution also focuses on the North American expansion in 2023. Thus, most of its collaborations and expansion news have been aimed at this market. The developer has launched Live Craps for Michigan players, released Mega Ball in Canada, and partnered with Caesars Digital in Pennsylvania.
