Evolution Goes Live in the Newly Regulated Ontario Gaming Market

Apr 13, 2022 Artyom Ustinov
April 4, 2022, will go down in history as one of the most important days for the online gaming market in Canada. With a fully regulated iGaming market in Ontario, Canadian players can now look forward to tons of quality content. Evolution issued an announcement the same day, informing users that they can access a comprehensive set of online casino services through multiple operators.
Starting in 2019, Ontario's journey in iGaming was long and tiring but also successful. Private operators can now offer their services to residents of Ontario as the government ruled in their favour. Evolution is currently powering the casino sections of five industry giants — BetMGM, 888, Rush Street Interactive, LeoVegas, and the Score Bet.

All operators have access to Evolution’s growing portfolio of games, thus offering extensive high-quality content to players from this Canadian province. Evolution will present its full range of games for starters, including live casino games, live game shows, and its portfolio of First Person table games and game shows. The provider will also include NetEnt and Red Tiger Gaming online slots. Evolution’s commercial director for North America, Jeff Millar, said that this moment is historical for Evolution’s presence in Canada. He added that the company is thrilled that regulated operators in Ontario have full access to Evolution’s portfolio of games that players will undoubtedly love and appreciate. He said that both the live games’ and slots’ variety and innovation would attract various users. Millar also commented on Evolution’s diverse portfolio that includes casino classics like blackjack, baccarat, roulette, craps, and poker, and live casino games such as Crazy Time and Lightning Roulette, including the first-class 3D animated versions of other games. He added that slot fans would also find everything they need, like Starburst and Divine Fortune from NetEnt, and Gonzo’s Quest™ Megaways™ and Cash Volt from Red Tiger Gaming. Evolution and its operator partners have received licenses from iGaming Ontario (iGO), a subsidiary of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).
