Can You Hear the Thunder? It’s the Latest Play’n GO Release Called Thunder Screech

Play’n GO brings the thunder with the latest addition to its portfolio — Thunder Screech. Although the developer is known for its Ancient Egyptian and Aztec-themed slot games, this one fits perfectly into the existing game library.
The 5-reel slot features a natural setting along with Native American visuals and audio. The entire game centres around the Native American legend of the thunderbird — a symbol of power and strength. According to the legend, the creature was sent to protect humanity from evil. What makes the game even more unique is the selection of the symbols. Instead of common animals, we’re used to seeing in online slots, Play’n GO went for more obscure wildlife such as otters, crows, foxes, beavers, and skunks, which is a pleasant change.
We enjoyed the special effects that appeared every time we hit a win — a thunder appears across the reels, and when there’s a Wild or a Scatter involved, a thunderbird will fly above the grid. As far as Thunder Screech features are concerned, you’ll find the classics like Wilds and Scatters, but you’ll also see two lesser-known options — Call and Strike. The first one can add five to nine Wild symbols to the reels, while the other one is randomly activated and turns all Wilds to Thunder Wilds. These will then trigger re-spins and possibly bring you more wins. Although bets range from 10p to £10, the maximum payout can reach up to 5,000x the stake, which isn’t bad at all for a medium volatility slot. Even though we can’t compare this game to the Play’n GO titles from the Book of… series, Thunder Screech is an enjoyable game, especially for players who don’t want to go all-in
