Amusnet Heads to SIGMA Asia 2023 Expo

Amusnet is ready to add another major event to its roster this year. After returning from iGB L!VE in Amsterdam, the acclaimed online casino game developer will head to the Philippines for the first Asian leg of the prestigious event — SIGMA Asia 2023 Expo. The inaugural conference will occur at the SMX Convention Center in Manilla from July 19–22.

Amusnet has had a long and fruitful collaboration with SIGMA — unsurprisingly, they’ve already attended SIGMA Africa and SIGMA Americas hosted this year. Since the upcoming expo is considered a remarkable business opportunity, the company will leverage it to showcase its innovative casino products and custom-made solutions; plus, it will attempt to capture the interest of the new audience. Participants will find the Amusnet team at booth G15 at the expo, where they can familiarise themselves with the company’s popular slots, such as Bulky Fruits, 20 Golden Coins, Cocktail Rush, Shining Crown, Art of Gold, Candy Palace, and several others.

This SIGMA event is expected to attract over 12k delegates, including many B2B and B2C brands. Furthermore, the conference will feature numerous high-profile influencers, academics, and policymakers as guest speakers and panellists. They will discuss different topics, including compliance and integration of AI into future regulations. By including an array of foreign visitors, the hosts are hoping to bring the iGaming network of the West closer to land-based Asian operators, suppliers, and affiliates. The goal is to introduce the latest industry trends and revive the regional gaming industry. This major event is endorsed by the Southeast Asia operator and regulator — PAGCOR (Philippines Amusement and Gaming Corporation). The attendees will hear the opening keynote delivered by PAGCOR’s CEO and chairman Alejandro H. Tengco, followed by Kevin Lester K. Lee’s and Josh Yugen’s presentations. They will also have an opportunity to rub shoulders with many leading industry figures from the Philippines. According to the COO of SIGMA Group, Emily Micallef, there has been a strong interest in Asia for iGaming and emerging technologies, especially after the virtual SIGMA Asia conference in 2020. She has added that the organisation faced challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic at the time, but on this occasion, they will be able to reconnect and explore this marketplace in person. Amusnet’s CEO, Ivo Georgiev, has stated that the company is excited about participating in the first SiGMA Asia Expo and exploring business opportunities in this neck of the woods. He believes that Asian countries have the potential to become a true power in iGaming as technology advances — and Amusnet’s goal is to contribute significantly to that growth.
