About NextGen Gaming

NextGen is a company that was founded in Australia back in 1999 when the world of online gaming was in its infancy. It was NextGen’s experience in the production of land-based games that allowed them to adjust to the world of online gaming and strive to become a part of it.

In 2011, they were acquired by NYX Interactive company which then formed the NYX Gaming Group later rebranded to SG Digital with the acquisition of other companies, making it the biggest software corporation.

NextGen continues to do business somewhat independently which could be felt in their games’ design and mechanics, whose uniqueness has always been NextGen signature marks.

NextGen is also a software company that takes fairness and security seriously, and can prove it with the licenses they hold. Their software has been licensed and regulated by both the United Kingdom Gambling Commission and Malta Gaming Authority, two of the largest licensing jurisdictions.

Another sign of NextGen’s success can be seen in the number of awards they have in their collection, like the Special Achievement Award at the 2014 EGR Awards and the RNG Casino Supplier of the Year Award in 2013.

NextGen is headquartered in London, but also holds offices in Sydney and Stockholm, from where they expand their reach into the global market.

NextGen’s software catalogue includes over 400 different games, mostly slots. However, there is a good number of scratchcards and video poker games to choose from as well. Some of the most famous games include:

  • 300 Shields
  • Call of the Colosseum
  • Medusa
  • Irish Eyes

All NextGen’s games are available in over 20 languages and currencies which helps them cover multiple iGaming markets. Also, you can find numerous bonus features, like Respin, Superbet, and other bonus forms that players find very appealing and lucrative. It is worth pointing out that the games from NextGen Gaming are produced in both Flash and HTML5 technology, which makes them perfectly scalable to fit different screen sizes, especially when the latter is used.
